Dental & pediatric

We review physical history and medications at the time of scheduling the procedure to be able to inform the patient what anesthesia would be appropriate for their prescribed treatment and if necessary, allow time to coordinate with the patient’s primary care physician for any medical clearances.  A call to the patient is made the evening before to remind them of their appointment and when they should stop eating and drinking along with answering any other questions.

Care led by the person whose name is on the door

Aero is led personally by its founder. Rita Poce is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist with a master’s degree and an MBA, and brings extensive anesthesia experience across diverse military and civilian settings.

A retired U.S. Army Reserve Colonel, she served with a combat support hospital and led specialized forward surgical support teams before building Aero into one of the Kansas City area’s most established office-based anesthesia practices, founded in 2007. Aero’s providers are ACLS- and PALS-certified and licensed in Kansas and Missouri. However, due to Missouri state laws and regulations governing independent CRNA practice, Aero’s mobile anesthesia services are offered exclusively on the Kansas side of the Kansas City metropolitan area.
