The optimal outcome for your patient is to have a dedicated, well qualified anesthesia practitioner focusing on your patient's safety, while you focus on the procedure. We will start an IV for fluid and medication administration. We will monitor the EKG, BP, O2 saturation, end tidal CO2 (for general anesthesia) and temperature. The airway will be carefully managed with supplemental O2. The patient will be monitored at least every 5 minutes during the procedure and for 30 to 45 minutes or longer during the recovery phase until the time the patient has meet the requirements of discharge. Recovery will be monitored until the patient is ready for discharge. A follow up phone call will be made with the patient after the procedure. All of these services are offered at NO COST TO YOUR PRACTICE.
